If in 2020 the virtual edition of Clermont en rose raised 35,780 euros, then on Sunday, October 10, everyone will want to put on their sneakers again to fight breast cancer, which affects both women and men.
The fourth edition of this run or walk against breast cancer will be held at Place de Jaude on Sunday, October 10th. The objective of the Clermont en rose association is to perpetuate for many years the enormous spirit of solidarity of the Clermontois in favor of the fight against breast cancer. This disease is the most common type of cancer among women, affecting one in eight women in France. Associations and women affected by breast cancer are very concerned about the work of Clermont-en-Rose.
The 2020 edition mobilized around 2,300 people and encouraged many donations, raising 35,780 euros for the fight against breast cancer. And the “pink soldiers” in the fight against breast cancer, which numbered 7,000 in 2018 and more than 8,500 in 2019, will be back with a vengeance. For this “true” remake, entries were launched on June 5th with the possibility of online or paper entry.
Simply register by paying €10 or €5 for under-13s in 2021. This 5-kilometer walking race around Place de Jaude is open to all, as women, men and children can register for the free rhythm. The event scheduled for women will be open to mixed or female doubles. The start and finish will be at Praça de Jaude and the apron and pink sweater of the participants of the walk/run and a banner of the solidarity aprons will be collected in the traditional village.
This event, which is intended to be festive and family-friendly, will offer many activities throughout this wonderful weekend in the middle of the formal village but also along the route.

For this edition, many novelties are planned, such as the school challenge with a prize awarded to the institution that mobilizes the most participants. A timed race open to men in mixed pairs. New t-shirt (light pink). Two plays on January 7 and 8, 2022 by Chamalières Atelier Théâtre Company and a raffle, all ticket sales will be donated to the associations.

As for the collection of aprons and t-shirts: for teams (10 people or more) Preparation possible: collection on the 22nd, 24th and 25th of September, subject to order by the 14th of September at two different locations: at Crédit Mutuel du Massif Central d’Aubière and Crédit Mutuel Espace Renan: Wednesday and Friday from 9.30 am. Assembly in the village on the 8th, 9th and 10th of October, provided it is ordered by the 1st of October at the latest.
